Measure USB Power Output

Measure USB Power Output

Came across this little neat device:

Made for charging phones, but I think it could be useful to see if you need more power or not. Granted I run a powered USB hub anyways… but it’s still cool. I lurve my gadgets. :tada:

edit:
Came across this really cool 2 channel bluetooth simple DJ mixer too:

So much cool stuff on kickstarter…

me : “isn’t there a app for that ?”

app store: “nope”

me : "see i knew there would be an app for … wait … what ? "

^^^ how i feel when there is no app to do something like this. i love digging through kick-starters gadgets though. but often wonder where all these hipsters live that have disposable enough income to actually donate to a kick-starters.

Haha, I’ve donated in maybe 3-4 projects. I only get the bare minimum stuff though. The huge investments I never understood. If I’m gonna be investing a large portion of money, I want some kind of holding or something.

this is one that got funded that i really cant wait for the official release of

and the demo of it

You only really need to know if a USB port can supply the standard 500mA, any excess is of little use besides charging. A little LCD display showing current+voltage would be a lot more useful than that meter too.
