Basically not looking to use Deckanized as a deck replacement of any kind; just looking to see if the sample functionality can be imported. According to the layout indicator above, this version still uses the Sync/Pause etc instead of the four deck selector at the top. I’m looking for a Instant Gratification base (ie, with the four deck selector across the top), but with the functionality of being able to record/beatslice with the eight bottom buttons like the Deckanized. Does that make more sense?
IE: This seems to be a Deckanized base mapping with Instant Grat effects; is there an Instant Grat base mapping with Deckanized effects?
Absolutely makes sense, if you come up with a viable concept start a thread about it (adding a poll adds interest lol). This mapping is partly a result of a poll I started a couple of months back asking for something quite similar to what you want, and for me what flashflooder’s made is perfect.
Draw up a detailed diagram, start a thread and if you get support he might manage to make time for it.
ok, i have a question.. i just recieved my MF pro BM… i have a classic MF also.. if i use the MF Deck + Grad mapping, which zip file should i use for the other deck?
PS… my bad for being a dumbass, but right now im just using my MF classic with the instant grad mapping 4 banks mode.
I´m trying to work my way through getting this mapping done in a 4 banks mode, which would be perfect for juggling and effects on both decks at once… so far this is the closest mapping… but I want to remove some of the mappings from banks 3 and 4 and replace them with deckalized mode.
I need some help as I don´t yet understand how to map in 4 banks mode.
Doesnt work for me, Bank 1 works but not the slicer part ( it worked once ). Bank 2 works at the bottom row ( play, cue sync etc) , its weird. When I use learn for the not working buttons the signal don’t match the onces on the mapping.
I have reinstalled the firmware, but its still the same.
However I do get the normal instant grat 4 banks one to work. Strange isnt it?
Got a small problem with the loop function. i changed the values in loop mode on the third row from the top to 1 (far left) to 16 (far right). But now when i set a 16 bar loop and change the size of it while its playing it (a) doesnt always stick to the loop, but every fourth bar it goes longer - at least when i set a 1bar loop and (b) the pitch of the track changes (totally weird!). Do you know why that is?
another question: how would i implement a loop-moving function into the mapping without fuckin it up completely? That is the only thing that is missing for my taste (also to seek through a track quicker without having to use the laptop or another controller). If that could be implemented it would be perfect!
unfortunately i don’t think you will see any videos for this mapping. this combined mapping is something i did on my own because of forum and personal interest.
Can anyone tell me how to imply a “Move-Loop” function into this mapping?
That is the only thing I need to use my MF as a sole controller.
I dont need the beat juggling or anything so that can be replaced… Im just not sure how to add a new function into the mapping that uses two buttons (namely “shift” and any other button)… Can anyone help here?
I have an issue with the deckalized + ig focus mapping.
SHIFT + SYNC not only changes Deck Focus but messes around with my deck Layouts, too.
It jumps from one LAyout to another and sometimes even changes them.
