You need to reflash your MF with the latest firmware and then put it into Internal 4 Banks mode. The latest firmware has the 4 banks mode buttons also sending out MIDI, which is utilized in this mapping.
Without the latest MF firmware, the mapping will work, but the FX Hold function and release will not.

Yes, as was said, you can Add… → Import in the Controller Manager. But you may need to Import the Effect Settings for the MF_FX mapping to function properly, so you may need to export your Custom S4 mapping first and then Add->Import that after loading the MF_FX mapping (since you may need to use the large Import button for that, haven’t tested it yet)
So to use this mapping with 2 midi fighter I would just have to to have one be Deckalized Focus AB, and the other would be the Instant gratification mapping? just making suuure.

I am having alot of trouble opening the dmg file, i saved it to my desktop , i am running mac 10.6.2
1.83 ghx intel core dup and 1.25 gb memory, its a macbook, when i drag the icon to my desktop and try to open it it says MFU Update is not supported on this type of mac?

Yes, that’s correct, you’ll just have to make sure to assign the correct mapping to the MF you want. In a lot of cases, the Midi Fighters aren’t listed differently in the In/Out Port lists so it’s easy to confuse which one is which, especially when you need to set the ports for multiple mappings.
How do you ge the FX to show up properly in Traktor Pro? Every time I import the preset, it shows up with all the wrong FX selected. That’s normally not a problem for mappings, but for this one, I don’t even know what they’re all supposed to be.
Can’t seem to get this to control decks b, c, and d. it only works on deck a. what am I doing wrong?
edit- figured it out…working fine. not sure how i got it but it works great now!
The mapping doesn’t hold the combo FX if you press the page buttons. I had a few problems of FX sticking even when I let go or toggled them off. It’s really fun and I’m going to start using it, but it would seem it’s not perfect.

you have to set the bank mode to internal or else it wont save. hold the top left button and plug your MF in, hit the 5th button and set it to internal mode. that should fix it for you.
I seem to have this problem toooo… but have not fixed it.
It seems that the bottom three rows are controlling the effects of deck A as usual, but then when i try to switch to deck B it dosnt work. The top 4 buttons are controlling effects for B, but only what would be the Gaters, filter, and bit crusher effects, so I just can’t switch effects at all.
Very strange. any advice?

I already posted it in another thread,…but this is the problem I´m having right now:
I updated my MIDI Fighter via the Mac App, but I can´t set it to 4 Banks internal mode,…only on/off.
Any help is appreciated.

how can this be done? i really want to switch to the new mapping, but also need my 8 cue points. so a button for switching the samples to cues 5-8 back and forth would be amazing..
