MF3D Initial Setup.. How to enable Tilt, and what do side buttons do?

Unboxed my new MF-3D today.. looks wicked in my rack all lit up!
This is my second MF.. The other one I have is the MF Pro.

So anyways I updated the firmware, and successfully downloaded Ableton Mappings on website.
However a couple things I’m having trouble with.

1. How do I enable the Tilt feature? I’d really like to get that going.
   I went through bank by bank, sound by sound and was tilting like a madman..
   No morphing happened.
   Saw a post about this so I checked mf utility.. indeed tilting is enabled.
   What gives?

2. What do the six buttons on the side do? (Three left, three right).
   2B. And how do I program them in Ableton?

Can’t find any good documentation on the website about any of these issues.
There should really be a downloadable user manual with this fabulous gadget.
Anybody able to help me out?
I have a recording session tonight and was hoping to get this new toy in on the action.

Installed Midi Monitor as a support page suggested. Shows midi messages are being sent for tilt and side buttons, no problem. Still not hearing any morphing when I tilt.
