So… yesterday traktor seemed to be mad… using some knobs on the S4 (effect1 on the left side and effect2 on the right side) the playing song slows al long as i move those knobs. (no effect active ofc)
The feeling is like some sort of lag or glich caused by an overload. DPC latency grows up when moving those 2 knobs, but always in the green without spikes.
Unplugging my midifighter all works just flawlessly.
So this tells me that a midi channel conflict could be the problem, but i admit… i have no experience on this sort of issues.
Is there any program that allows me to monitor midi channels and notes played in real-time? i’m a windows user
And furthermore, anyone here had similar issues? how to solve it?
Till yesterday all was just perfect

Considering the S4 in native mode doesn’t send midi signals, I doubt you have conflicts with the unit.
i have also a custom user mapping added for the s4, don’t know if this changes something.
So it’s possible that it’s just the midifighter screwing everything up?
hmmm removing the midifighter mapping made it work. But each time i try to import the standard instant grat mapping… things screw up again
i try to load a different mapping for the MF
so… different mappings (eg: deckalized) do work, but i need the IG one
tried to update the firmware… tried V1.0.2 instead of 1.0.3… nothing seem to fix the issue.
