Midi controlled lighting with Traktor
I want to find/create a usb light bar that can be mapped as a beat phase monitor in traktor. I don’t really know anything about lighting. Has anyone seen something like this done? If usb isn’t possible I’m also interested in figuring out sound sensitive lighting. Thanks DJTT!

I have made a USB Cube that can glow different colours depending on the weather.
I might reprogram it though to do this now!

no programming experience. I was just thinking a usb light would be easy to assign like the lights on my controller.
Get a Hale UMC-32. It has 32 digital outputs(leds), so you could use 16 for each phase meter. And it’s really simple to use and program. The only thing is can traktor output midi for the phase meter to be used like this, i don’t know as i’ve never tried it, but i’m sure someone on here has. HELP GUYS??
on my controller I have two of the buttons that have LEDs mapped as phase meters for each deck…I just am not sure how to bridge the midi to light gap.
Well the Hale UMC is a midi contoller, that you can have up to 32 ins or outs. If you used all 32 outs for leds, then there you have a midi/led phase meter.
