Midi Fighter S4 Mapping
Anybody create a customized mapping for the S4? If so, would they share?
I was thinking about using it as a combo of one-shots and hot cues (since the S4 does virtually everything else). And maybe a low kill.
Hopefully, DJTT will create a mapping soon.

If you guys want to list up what you want to do/use. I’ll give it a shot, I’ve got a conversion of the deckalised mapping almost done… i was going to finish it this weekend but I landed on my head at judo and spent the weekend rather out of it.
How do you use the deckalised mapping in Traktor S4?

you can just import the tsi straight in TS4 and it will work but as TS4 doesn’t highlight what deck is currently in focus the focus mapping is hard to use.
I’ve set the top leds on the MF to show which deck is in focus and remapped the bottom buttons (which are pitch and tempo adjustment) to be hotcues 1-4.
There’s currently one glitch in it that I need to fix when I get an hour to play with the mapping.
Upload it if you feel like it.
I guess TSIs for the old Traktor won’t/will work?
TSI’s for non S4 controllers should still work in the S4 software.
So far I “fixed” the Deckalized AB mapping (it would pull the wrong effects), then I changed the bottom row to turn on/off Effect Bank 1 (with LED feedback) for all 4 decks.
Delay effect would be cool to have mapped on the MF. But think I might even more apt for one-shots and hot cues.
The S4 cue buttons are nice, but not nearly as responsive or fun to play with.
My led’s in the bottom right corner of the MF already indicate what deck I’m focused on?
Would be nice to have it in the GUI though…

It does mate. Its an option in Preferences: Software or Hardware Focus. Choose Software and you will see the Focus on each Deck Letter like in TPRO
