MIDI Fighter Twister - Custom CC / Note # for Side Keys?

Just a quick question for y’all: Is it possible to customize the note / CC value sent by the side keys on the MIDI Fighter Twister? I can’t seem to find that option in the MF Utility, but every other switch on the device is customizable, so it seems like the side keys ought to be as well. It’ll let me customize the button behavior, but not the value that each one sends.

Anyone know of a way to assign specific note / CC values to the side keys? Any thoughts or advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Hey D2MF,

Unfortunately this isn’t possible via MF Utility but you could use programs such as MIDI-OX or Bome’s MIDI Translator to assign different Note and CC messages to your side buttons.

Thanks Stewe. This is kinda what I suspected. I’ll have to add this to the feature request for the twister, but it’s nice to know Bome’s Translater can help in the meantime. Have you ever used it before? Any latency issues?
