MIDI Mapping The S8 for Tone Play?

Hi All. I’m wondering if it’s possible to midi map the Kontrol S8? I’ve been trying for some time. The only tutorial I’ve found is a Russian dude on YouTube using “Loop Midi”. I’ve followed the tutorial, unfortunately I can only map the on/off buttons on the remix decks.

My main purpose to Map the unit is for tone-play. Trigger a cue point + move key knob. I know I’m able to take a single sound and copy it on the remix decks in 4 cells and have the pitch set on different values, but I don’t find that method really efficient for me.

Any suggestions or help would be great! :slight_smile:

Not on the standard layer since the hotcue buttons can be remapped but you can do so if you put your unit in MIDI mode.
