Midi syncing iPad applications to use on s4 mk1

Just wondering if anyone had any experience using traktor as the master whilst syncing apps on an iPad via midi and playing back through one of the audio channels on the s4. I have been thinking about buying Korgs gadget and running midi over wifi (possibly causing latency issues) or trying to use the camera kit to run the midi via usb.

I’m aware there are other options available but wanted to be sure that there were apps out there that would allow me a bit of freedom to create new layers that we synced to the traktor master clock.

Any comments or suggestions welcome.

I haven’t done it specifically with the S4, but it’s easy enough to get a simple 1x1 MIDI interface and use the CCK to sync things. I use a cheapo MIDI interface I found on Amazon for like $5, works fine.
