MIDI Twister & Controllermate knobs using different bank setting - Issue
Hi there,
I bought a MIDI Fighter Twister to work on Davinci using the App control for mac called Controllermate
I got my Twister set up in Midifighter Utility with every knob is ENC 3FH/41H and Switch Action type : Shift Encoder Hold
The encoder MIDI channel is 0
The Switch MIDI Channel is 2
The (hold & Twist) is channel 5 (according to controllermate).
And now when I hold down the knob and turn knobs in bank 1 its became unreliable and acting weird by loading the setting of the same knob on bank 3
How to easily fix this problem or what caused of this
Is there a way I can change the (hold & twist) channel in Midifighter Twister
Thanks everyone for your time !
Bests,
Can you double check all encoders and switches in the bank 1 and ensure that any of those were set in CH4.CC000, CH4.CC001, CH4.CC002 and CH4.CC003 (those are your bank change CC’s)
You can check that with any software that in the Midifighter Utility if you click on the encoders in the program. Or you could actually try out any other software that accepts MIDI.
Hi Stewe,
If I understand it correctly.
I got my Bank 1 set up
Encoder: Channel 6 and start from 0 ->15
on my Bank 3 set up
Encoder run on channel 3 start from 32-> 47
I set up that way because it was having the same issue of loading the same knob but different bank setup.
I got that fixed by changing the channel number
Now when it comes to the press & hold & switch setup. They all in channel 5 and cant be change using Fighter Utility App
Thats where i get stuck!
Hi Stewe,
Enventhough I can change the channel in Controllermate but the source of information given from the fighter on CH.05 already messed up.
So the set up of mapping will also messed up
Is that a bug from your firmware? Will DJ Tech Tools release a new update to fix these bugs soon?
Or someone here come up with the fix please guide me
Cheers!
Like I stated, I’m not familiar with that software to give you any additional input on rather this could be a bug or not. Feel free to contact DjTT support.
