MidiFighter 3d Mad zach mapping

In the videos Mad Zach mapps two “device on” switches to a single MF3d button and inverts the range on one so that when you press the button one device turns on while the other turns off.

I cannot make this happen, after following the steps, both of the devices turn on then off together.

any help would be great thank you.

In Traktor:

Set a modifier to toggle between 0 and 1

when mod=1 one device is set to turn on and the other off

when mod=0 reverse the on and off values.

In Ableton:

probably gonna need to write a max script, but the principle is the same
