midifighter sending CC no note

hello

is there a possibility that the midifighter classic send CC instead of note?

i use ableton live and with note,the button act as toggle button and not as momentary…

i finally got a tips for ableton user but for this time it’s in french (cause i’m french) so you will have to translate it if you want to understand (like me each time i want an in formation and find it in an english forum lol :smiley: )

nb: you have to download midipipe for this trick and set iacdriver correctly :smiley:

so, here is the midipipe chain to make just for one button (in this case the first bottom left who play C1)

-midi in : midifighter
-alist
-key mapper: en C1 (note du midifighter a transformer)
-message converteur: note on vers CC octet de remplissage a 0 canal 2 (canal utilise par Midifighter)
-set: control change control 0 valeur 0
-message converteur: note off vers CC octet de remplissage a 0 cnal 2
-alist
-midi out: iac bus driver

dans ableton
-input=gestionnaire iac
-output=midifighter

et pour declecher correctement en momentary un effet par exemple (ici le on off du beat repeat) assigner le bouton et comme valeur de cc on donne min=0 et max=1
