I recently saw this duo and was curious to what the one guy does on his apc 40? is he only triggering samples while the other is laying the set down on the cdjs?
Saw these guys during summer, they killed it! I’m pretty sure the apc is just clips, maybe fx too.
Yea i saw them on Halloween and it was epic. I was curious to this set up because my friend has an apc 40 and has been wanting to try and get a duo together and I was curious to how they incorporated their apc40 into the mix.
1 uses serato and cdj’s the other is using ableton and the APC40.
ive never seen them, but just looking at their setup, thats what they got going on.

notice the one adjusting the cdj didnt have his headphones on, i’ve heard of feeling the music, is this what people meant?

with the one on cdj’s dropping the tracks then, what is the guy with the ableton set up doing? just dropping one shots and loops? I’m curious to how they’re using ableton with their setup
ive dj’ed with them twice before at our monthly party, Trashed, in houston. they use serato with cdj 1000 or 2000s. they also brought that denon serato midi controller. i forget what its called ;D
