Mike Kraze’s Offcial Set up Renovation / Production Friendly
Well as stated in the title I needed a more production friendly set up to make it more convenient for production as I spend hours upon hours on Ableton. With my old set up there was so much wire and midi routing going on that it was hard to keep up with the many change I would make as I dabble in many different genres and each requires a certain set up of things.
If you have any questions feel free to ask, now on to the pics:
lol…ain’t that the truth. I spin better when my lava lamp is on.
Actually…the recording classes I’ve taken, the professor was vehement about that part…that it didn’t matter if you were running HD3 and had a collection of fully tuned rooms and an API console just for the drum bus…if you didn’t have a lava lamp, it wasn’t a real studio.
I have yet to be in a pro studio that didn’t have at least one. The one I worked at for a while, turning it on was on the checklist of things to do before an artist came in (we had one in each control room).
