Mix Thread(old)

Having seen some people opening a thread about a mix they did, I started thinking; “why not open a central thread in which people can post their mixes?”

Rules of engagement:
01.) post your the name of the mix, add genre between brackets
02.) add the tracklist and setname in a quote
03.) add download link

In my following post, I will try to sum up all mixes that will be posted in this topic.

Game on!

Mixes present in this thread:
dannyboy & tekki - Progressional Education - episode 1 (genre: Progressive)
DJ_DvlsAdvct - Crossing the Line (Between Love and Hate) (genre: Breakbeat, Electronica, Powernoise)
Midifidler - Jitterbot (genre: Electronica)

Progressional Education - episode 1 (genre: Progressive)

Download it here

Great idea. Reckon it could make a sticky?

I have some demo mixes on imeem.

This would make the tread quite large over sometime. I think it would be more prudent to make a full section specifically for mixes / productions etc…

this site has sectioned off their discussions really well I think. The Music section being the greatest and the classified

Fair points and all. I had some discussions with the moderator about these kind of concepts, and I was told that this forum wants to keep its main focus on gear and technology. That’s why I came up with this idea.

So please keep posting mixes.

@JesC1200; no problem, but if you want coverage on your mixes, please stick to the format. And I will enjoy your mix later on! (Gonna start listening to DvlsAdvct’s mix shortly)

Some great tune selections people!

By the way here are a few other sites you can go to post mixes:

B00mbox - b00mb0x.org
SUSN - www.sound-unsound-network.com

There are about 60 mixes on my “groovelectric” podcast on the link below. There are about 30 mixes on the “podrunner” link below (I’ve done about 130, but most of 'em had to be taken down). The Groovelectric mixes are more regular DJ mixes; the Podrunner mixes are nonstop, fixed-BPM mixes for workouts.
