Mixlr problems…

Hey guys,

I tried to set up a stream today. I downloaded the mixlr software and installed it.

When trying to broadcast I’m getting the error: “Mixlr could not connect to the streaming server. Make sure your firewall is not blocking mixlr requests.”

My firewall has always been disabled in windows, so it’s not that. I thought maybe it was my avg antivirus, so i uninstalled that. I also tried running Mixlr in windows xp compatibility mode. Nothing seems to work, anyone have any ideas?

I did a couple of gours last night and all was fine.

Why dont you try your mixlr on a different network, like neighbours wifi or friends cable/adsl?

I actually figured this out, was driving me nuts. If anyone has similar problems, I had to disable the extra firewall in my router’s firmware.

i set mixlr up yesterday and had no issues. i guess the firewall thing is the biggie eh

Yeah, support had never heard of it either. I just finished a 2 hour set and it was fine. Pretty impressed listening to the playback, it’s quality!
