yay, ive managed to sort it out, by selecting the mixtrack pro on the ASIO (green icon in toolbar) and setting the first channels to 3 and 4 and the other ones 1 and 2
thanks man, you saying what you did gave me an idea to mess around with the ASIO settings lol, cant believe the difference between traktor and VDJ, traktor is so smooth
another question tho, nothing serious, my pc will freeze up for a second every now and again, does yours do that?
Every once in a great while Traktor will freeze on start up. It runs smooth as butter when I use the batch script though. Damn Toshiba laptop has an assload of useless crap running all the time.
i was running it through my mac, but im using it on pc now with windows xp, ive seen somewhere that if you disable the energy savings on the usb hubs that helps, but ill download the file late and try it
Never thought of that. That’s the one thing I seem to have the most problems with. My USB ports mysteriously stop working with my Mixtrack. Thanks mate!
does that batch file work with windows xp? its been doing it again today, doing my head in to be honest lol, it runs fine, then the pc sounds like its about to take off lol
not sure - i’ve only tried it on win7 - but it can’t do any harm. all it does is disable (or re-enable) services. the command line for that i think is the same on winxp - tho maybe diff service names. whatever it does do or not - all u need to do is run it again and select to enable the services again. it doesn’t do anything permanent.
