TOTALLY AGREE, The only thing that all of us must care is the quality of the groove that the (any kind of) Dj is offering to the crowd, don’t worry of what set up is being used, just listen and enjoy or leave the venue looking for something better. If you are a dj MUSIC is what you want. I’ve been, like you I supose, in hundreds of different gigs, big clubs with the most expensive equipment and the worst music you could expect, and small venues with very modest setups with AMAZING SOUNDS blowing our minds. What do you prefer: a good flow or a bad feeling? Obviously allways looking for the best flow in the best sound quality, but when both are together you don’t mind what equipment is being used. amen to that. i think one thing everyone can agree on is that this is one of the best quality forums there is. the people and information that is presented here is great and keeps a larger dream alive, such as is stated above, for dj’s such as myself that dont get to play out as much as back in tha day. doesnt matter what you use as long as you rock it!
I think it is fair to say that this thread has done its dash and thus has been closed.
Posts like this is just inviting flame wars onto the boards.
We do tolerate this sort of criticism on our boards.
However we do welcome constructive criticism - in fact this board thrives upon it.
That said, there is even a point where even constructive criticism becomes un-constructive. We have already talked about the Serato board once in another thread. So I think i speak for everyone here when i say that the community has had their say and we can drop it before it starts to become un-constructive.
