Multiple DJ Controller Set up at a gig

Got a session this Saturday
My buddy has NS7 and uses VDJ on a Windows laptop

I will be using Traktor S4 and I have a MacBook Pro.

When I am done with my Session with the S4, How do we use his NS7 without stopping the music?

I am a rookie! Please help out!:confused::confused:

well if this is all you have and some speakers itā€™s one thing but if youā€™re at a club or somewhere with a mixer it will be very simple

Or you could easily route his output trough the deck C or D of your S4

It works fine. Just plug in the output master from the NS7 via RCA to the back of the S4. Choose either channel C or D, make sure that it is switched to line. From the software preferences you make the necessary audio routing.

thereā€™s a place we play with a similar setup - iā€™m connecting the other guyā€™s master out to the Channel ā€œDā€ on the S4 in ā€œTHRUā€ mode (the small swtich on the back). Thereā€™s no need to mess with Live inputs or so - itā€™s just mixing it to the master through an analogue chain.

the bad is that you wonā€™t be able to leave the party with your S4 before he is done. On the good side, you can happily switchover back-and-forth all night long :wink:
