multiple versions of traktor.

I use traktor pro with midi controllers and i’ve found someone local selling a traktor scratch duo setup for $150 i feel like it would be stupid of me not to take advantage of this. i mean, it’s an audio 4 and scratch software!

after thinking about it for a while, i’ve come to conclusion that if i were to go through with this, i would need to upgrade both pieces of software to get the new features, once T2 comes out, am i correct?

Just upgrade the duo license to Traktor Scratch Pro 2 and sell the Traktor Pro license.

FYI: its not possible to have Traktor Pro and Traktor Scratch Duo (if both are version 1) on the same machine as they both install to the same directories.

You dont need to install TSDUO, just put the Duo serial number into Service Centre and it will turn your TPRO into TSDUO. You will lose some Pro functionality though.

thanks for the recommendations, but the seller sold it over the weekend when i was out of town without an internet connection.

i’m slightly pissed off.
