Multitracking software. For recording scratch tracks.

I’m looking for multi-tracking program to primarily record scratch tracks. I make beats with Maschine. So all the extra features making beats ect I’m not interested in.

I’m just want to lay down multiple scratches over a track.

I’m looking for affordable software that can work with my Mackbook pro & my Traktor Z2. I was thinking about pulling the trigger on Logic X today, the $200 price is just right.

Just thought I’d check in here for any other suggestions before I did.

Go for Ableton or Bitwig Studio over logic. You will make use of their features beyond multi-tracking - the Maschine integration is great.
