It’s not necessary to have a new edition - I have first editions that are still great.
I’m a big fan of the computer music magazines as well
Plenty of eye candy on this one. Know the author too. Bad ass!
Ken Scott’s autobiograhy Abbey Road to Ziggy Stardust was fun reading.
I also recommend the A Wizard A True Star Todd Rundgren In The Studio by Paul Myers biography or a lesser known but highly important producer in the rock world.
The Chronciles of Lady Gaga “My days getting banged on an SSL 128 channel mixing desk” I found this a profoundly riveting read.
Hey there, I recommend you check out the Pyramind books. There a production school in S.F. and have a list of great books out. Audio Fundamentals, Music Business, etc. Check us out at Pyramind.com
