My Dj helmet [Build Log]

Hejalihoppa,

I thought it could be could to have like unique headgear while playing so i was liek why not make one myself. I got inspired by this and i found my old mac classic laying downstairs. So i took the computer out of it and had only the plastic box left. Then i spray painted it brown, to match a bear as i am mystical bear. Then i attached Vinyl records as ears and a green light. I got still lot of things undone but here is the picture.

What i’m going to do next is to cover the inside with foam so it is secure on my head. Then i am going to put a small window and tint it with mirror film so i can see out but you can’t see what is inside. I am also going to add some more lights and stuff so stay tuned.

Not gonna lie, the records make it look A LOT like it’s a take on the mau5 helmet.

Yeah i found that out i think i will try to mod this a bit. maybe draw like red thing on it so it becomes like cartoon ear, i will find somehting out

But also i have just started and i have alot of work to do so don’t start the flaming.

IMHO, the DJ helmet thing’s been done. The helmet with ears was first, then the mac helmet. Ergo, a mac helmet with ears ain’t too original. Do something clever, and do it properly, or do you really want to wear it in front of people?

I agree with FEP. Not very original. Daft punk deadmau5 bloody beetroots danger kid chameleon . Kind of gimmicky now unless you could pull off something better then daft punks helmets which IMO blow everybody elses outta the water.They mastered it, deadmau5 ripped it at 128kps!

I knew stuff like this has been done, but in my small country no one has done it so it doesn’t really matter, but yes my plan is to take the deadmau5 look out of it and also work some lights and stuff (that has also been done). This is also just a project so i have something to do in this summer as there is hard to get summer job here. If i end up not wanting to wear this in public i can still put it on and watch myself naked in the mirror with some lights and stuff on my head.

Ha, Good attitude Kurbitur! Wasn’t hating on ya or anything. Just not my cup of tea. If it was me I would take the old Apple and turn it into a light show, just set it up infront of your gear when your doing gigs.

Don’t know if the ex president thing has been done but you should just wear a arnie mask.

instead of the pump its the music that just blows up your body and its as satisfying as cumming. you are in heaven cumming at the studio and at the club. cumming in your bedroom. cumming day and night when mixing music.
