My mixes! ;-D

figured i might introduce myself. I’m the Middle East COO of The SYNERGY Events, we do special high end fashion events in Boston and NYC and recently in Paris, London and Middle east.

i have been networking with modeling agencies, designers, HMUAs, venues, promoters and other event planners to see if they would like a show like this here in this part of the world. fingers and toes crossed! :wink:

i am an engineer by day and an event planner/dj by night. i love music and absolutely love meeting passionate and career motivated individuals who strive in their lives and move for things which are better and better because that makes me want to try harder in life. :wink:

Born and raised in abu dhabi, left a while back and lived in US for 10 yrs, came back in 2012 to abu dhabi, and then moved to dubai in 2014 to bring my events here ;-D

we dont do the every weekend promoting BS, we do EVENTS that are geared to the career motivated networking individuals who dont go out that often but when they go out, they really dress up in class and elegance and like to party with style and sophistication. And that is why we DO NOT gear our events to the college crowd who like to puke on the side of the streets and start bar fights. These events are geared to the mature crowd who can handle themselves publicly with a sense of pride.

I dj on the side as a hobby. Music has always been my passion so it helps me get away from the daily BS in life :slight_smile:
i spin mostly, hip hop, house, top 40, reggaeton, dancehall, international, arabic, and bhangra. i have djed fashion show, bdays, weddings of different traditions and cultures, graduation parties and so forth,

This is a tribute to my OG hometown Abu Dhabi and a party at Emirates palace where you party with the fast and the furious. This is the first time i have done a progressive mix. Its a bit fast paced so not for the faint of heart ;D

I’m going to be honest: Nothing about this post makes me want to listen to these mixes. You’ve posted 21 (TWENTY ONE!) mixes with one sentence descriptions and no real substance on them otherwise. Posting an assload of mixes is confusing and doesn’t help your brand. Post one mix, then at the bottom say something like "More of my mixes are available at

Mixcloud"

If you had posted one mix with a tracklist (which you need to do, per the rules) I’m more inclined to want to listen to it. I know that the tracklist is on the Soundcloud/Mixcloud links but if you spend about an hour and nineteen minutes mixing, you can take the ~5 seconds it takes to copy past a tracklist.

Also, why are almost all of your mixes 1:19:00?

Beyond the cavalcade of mixes your unleashed, this seems to be a thinly veiled pitch for your services. I am merely a member of this forum and hold no weight. Yet I don’t think this is keeping with the spirit of the forum’s ideals. I am loathe to tell anybody else what to do or not to. But you may want to consider that nobody will listen to that amount of mixes unabated without losing it, or coming away angered at the clear pitch. I hope you understand that this isn’t some crusade. I myself ran afoul of a rule and wasn’t too keen on being told about it, but after the dust settled I understood the position taken by DJTT. If you are an artist and want folks to peep your work try a less commercialized approach. Your taste sounds eclectic and a shame to waste those mixes through over-saturation.

Which is fine and your mixes would stay together, just through a drip-drip release you get sustained interest in your work. But the rules here are more particular because this isn’t a free for all bonanza of self promotion. I too am slowing letting mixes out to this forum as heads digest what I have already uploaded. Its your call, I hope.
