xxxelmoxxx used to be my internet nickname when I was 13 coz I thought it was funny back then. Elmo stuck with me, hence ElmoNZ (Elmo from New Zealand) but now thinking ahead, if I actually get into the music business, anything with Elmo in it I don’t think is gonna do me too many favours. I know it’s only a name, but still, it’s still something!

I want just a nice name, not too flashy not too boring. ElmoNZ is unique and my own which is cool but nah. The only thing I wanna keep is the NZ at the end. NZ rep!

My last name is Swan so I was thinking…
AviaNZ. But then I was like nah that’s kinda gay.

I have no suggestions, but thinking like that is very good, you don’t want to end up DJ’ing 5 year olds birthdays :stuck_out_tongue:.

i suggest “guest” or “guest dj” So you can be in a lot of flyers and people will think you play at many venues on one night or even cooler in spanish “Dj invitado”

Well anyway, Friday the 4th is my last shift at work then I have a whole week off before I leave for uni on the 12th or 13th. So surely there’ll be some time that we can catch up in there, I’m DYING to! Haha.

i never had a name until a friend of mine started to DJ together. i just went by my name which is tristan. we started djing under “Sweat & Shame” and since then one of us just goes by sweat and the other shame. i know its dumb and lame but its only a name. you think deadmau5, skrillex, daft punk, or swedish house mafia sound cool? i bet at the time they felt just as dumb as all of us but as long as the product is good that is all that matters

mau5 actually chose that name completely by choice.

and daft punk has a story behind it that i forgot. something related to a band they tried to start i think.

Alright guys lol I think I’m just gonna go with aviaNZ after thinking about it more… It isn’t that bad lol, and even if it’s not perfect, it’s a start :3 Getting my x1 and A2DJ within a couple of weeks - as soon as I get a job down in my new city :smiley: !!!
