NanoKontrol Hacking

Taking inspiration from: http://fakemoneyproductions.blogspot.com/2010/06/if-you-build-it-you-will-have-blown-at.html

I would like to create a custom controller, im pretty sure arcade buttons will work for the buttons? Also from the looks of the insides i could take out the mounted LEDs and put on new ones? What spec would they have to be?

I think one of the biggest problems youā€™ll have is that the arcade buttons are too ā€œtallā€ to fit in your nanokontrol; youā€™ll have to do a case hackā€¦ plus i canā€™t see why youā€™d want to lose velocity sensitivity, the nanokontrol buttons are reasonably large as they areā€¦

I have an LPD8 for drums iā€™m using a nanokontrol, i think youā€™re thinking of a nanopad.

I will have to build a new case and stuff i was just wondering if the buttons would be compatible, im only using the brains of the controller.
