Yep. DV427 are listing:

Komplete 8: £448
Konplete 8 crossgrade from Maschine: £331 (!)
Komplete 8 Ultimate: £897

I’m hoping that NI will have a similar crossgrade reduction for Ultimate for Maschine owners…

seems like NI is getting a little out of hand!
whatever money i guess!
I just can’t justify spending that much cash on presets/samples!
A few synths and a sampler should be more than enough.. even for high end sound designers!
just my opinion tho!

I’m thinking about it 'cos of the integration in Maschine

oh my lawdddd

another thing to add on my must-buy-list

im gonna be soooo broke >_<

Damn! 1k in the US?

Yeah does seem expensive to me - but there is alot of stuff there - I’d love it but can’t really justify it, but to serious producers it’s a good deal.

haha, they made it 1000x easier for the bootleggers.

Im sure these “legit” harddrives are showing up on craigslist

Not to go off topic its a sick deal. I wonder how much the EDU version is gonna be. Im going back to school!

It seems like they just released Komplete 7. Seems really quick for another upgrade. I could be wrong thou and as long as they change/update enough to warrant more money I guess it’s worth it.

Just bought Komplete 6, so I’ll just wait until next June/July when they do their half-price upgrades. :sunglasses: I’ve learned that if you want a new (legal) NI product its best to wait until June/July because they release new products in September/October (right before the holidays). For example, the Kontrol s4 upgrade, the half price software upgrades, etc. So if you don’t mind waiting a few months you can have Christmas in July!!

I really don’t get why anyone would buy individual NI effect or instruments, which is probably part of their business plan. It’s pretty crazy too how quickly maschine 1.7 will be available, i guess canning kore really did free up resources.
