Need a good soundcard for VirtualDj

I have been useing Numark IO and honestly the sound quality is not at all where i want it. The line doesnt have enough power and my master volume has to be at its peak with my faders to make it sound loud.My highs and mids hurt the ears but when i use a cd through my mixer the system sounds great. I believe its the soundcard. I need a new soundcard in which i can cue with my headphones as well like we normally do.

I just can speak for what I own… My M-auido audiophile with 4 outs sounded great with Virtual DJ. Very clean and neat sound. But there are many others that can suit you also.

With the M-audio you have a button for changing between monitor and headphone cueing… so it is very useful

I see a labtop so that soundcard phone fit. I need something external like a Numark IO for a ASIO driven software.
