need help with oxygen 8

im j/w i dont have a audio interface quite yet, i was trying to mess around with the oxygen mapping plugged in via usb… some of the controls are there but for example deck b play and pause controls are controling deck a, and deck a’s are doing nothing… do i have to plug my oxygen into an audio interface before i can use this mapping?

No you don’t need the interface.
Your oxygen 8 may be transposed up an octave? Try hitting the transpose button down one octave.
If that’s not it, you may have to go in and use learn to set the buttons/keys to the correct functions. I also think that mapping from Ean used a foot pedal as a shift modifier.
