Need some advice on what to buy
Hi, i am trying to go on a more modular setup and i was wondering wich would be a better option, the Ecler Evo 5 or the Kontrol z2 as a mixer for my setup.

First of all it’s all up to you, which mixer you want. I think you need to figure out what needs you have, and then compare the two mixers.
An example would be,
Do I want to do 2 or 4 channel mixing?
if 4 channel the evo 5 would probably suit me best.
if 2 channel the z2
Do I want good integration with traktor and so on…
Is price not an issue, because as I see it, these are mixers in two completely different price ranges.
oh and why not just keep the allen & heath xone 92?
Not even similar enough to compare. This comes down to personal preference..

Ecler NUO 5 is a beast of a mixer and I love it, but it has no soundcard, midi and so on.
Z2 is good if you’re looking for a cheaper option to go with the Traktor route.
My xone 92 got toasted due to power failure!!! I want a traktor certified mixer and the evo 5 is one of them!!! I will definetly use it with other modular controllers like mf or maybe the xone k2!!! So knowing this what would you guys recomend?
Ecler EVO 5 for sure.
the Z2 might feel like a step backwards from the Xone
