So My setup is in my shed and the neighbours have rang the council of my noise instead of just knocking on lol but any way what are the best ways to do it because I love to blast it its a brick little house with 4 windows hasn’t been plastered or anything yet any ideas ??? I was thinking of the soundproof tiles but would be expensive I was thinking of studding the walls ???
There is no shortcut to keeping the neighbors happy.
Remove the windows, brick up the openings.
Replace the door with something more solid.
Add studs (2x4 are good, 2x6 will be better).
Spray in foam insulation between all the studs.
Two layers of sheet rock.
Bass traps in all corners (even around the ceiling).
Acoustical foam on all the walls & ceiling.
Turn it down.
Is there any insulation? From reading about speaker building, the pink fiberglass stuff is the best material for sound absortion. Wool is the best natural sound absorber.
I like to hang wool blankets from my doors. They help keep a little tighter seal against the frame to keep them from rattling and help prevent sound from traveling through. Of course, having a good sold door would be best.
As for windows, if you don’t want to remove them, you can put insulation over them and tack on a sheet of plywood for good measure.

and you just blasted out your music day after day without checking with your neighbours that the volume wasnt offensive. You expect your neighbours to do the work solving the problem you created?
