Two wrongs don’t make a right… Chad Hugo can clear the sample now that he got caught, and even pay penalties if needed.

Leaking a producer’s drum kit is not fair at all… while Alicia Keys will be compensated, the Neptunes won’t be able to get their drum kit back from everyone who downloaded it.

Not cool at all.

The other thing she should have considered is, how potential clients or fellow producers would feel about working with someone with such an itchy trigger finger.

I did a google search for this and it seems they were leaked by Alecia’s engineers in response to a track being leaked. However I downloaded the pack and there is a .html file in one of the folders which is an accompanying document for a commercial sample pack called something like neptunes drumz and states that it contains samples “in the style of” the neptunes which makes me think it’s not really a neptunes kit unless the neptunes are buying kits which sound like themselves haha.
