New Behringer DJ products 2012

looks Sick :tada:

They do look pretty damn sick.

Incl. USB hub??? Behringer HAVE BEEN listening!
Incl. built in AI??? Behringer HAVE BEEN listening!

Hats off to Behringer. For stepping up their gear, and not their prices. :+1:

told you.

Yes thanks

I think I read somewhere on theses forums they hired a new product designer hence the shift, dont quote me on this
Behringer have definitely upped their game with these products. The pricing is pretty damn good, Behringers factory production resources.
If the quality of build stands up they’re going to mopp up the competition!

Oh damnit here I was hoping this was some sort of official release announcement :disappointed:
Big up for Behringer, way to completely change course (for the good)!

Theres a HUGE thread on this already..

And that would be me. Sorry about my voice in that video, I was savagely ill at NAMM this year. I’ve been with Behringer now for just under 2 years, and I brought the CMD controller concepts to the company. Let me know if you have any questions and I’ll do my best to respond!

We want a release date!

Behringer was already awesome in my book, but with you joining the company there, it became even more awesome!

Thanks for stepping up their game!

I’m liking the new CMD line (from a visual standpoint, at least), great work

I got a quick question for you, what can we expect in build quality? are we talking plastic housings or maybe something a little bit more durable ?

We initially announced release in late summer, but we’ve made some changes to the entire line that are going to delay that a bit. But the changes are worth the wait, and we expect to ship around October.

Thanks man!

The housings were all injection molded plastic at NAMM and Messe, but the shipping model will be a combination of that and aluminium. This was one of the changes we implemented based on feedback from the trade shows. We’ve made some other changes - like changing the main indicator color from red to blue in most cases. The reason for that change is that it was difficult to see the difference between the red and amber in a well lit environment.

I like this you are seeing what the people want and delivering and actually listening to peoples feedback.

My hat is off to you and if this line goes well the only way is up for behringer imo

Excellent!

Biggest question on my mind though: will the USB hub in the MM-1 be (optionally) powered? I doubt its usefulness without, to be honest.. It’s not like people are going to plug mice and keyboards in it, and I haven’t seen external power mentioned anywhere.

I like the sound of those changes nem0nic! can’t wait to see them in real life

Thanks for the quick reply!!

The CMD LC-1 is gunna play nicely with linux + bitwig, right? The Launchpad sure as hell doesn’t so there may be a gap in the market there :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Behringer made awesome job.I personally believe their controller will be race with DDJ-T1  I loved the big jog wheels.

What currency are those prices you mention ?
