“when you see it, you’ll shit midifighters”
Hmm, looks like it could be a good series of mixers. I like that they changed the headphone locations from the DDM 4000, was such a stupid place to put it.
You just won an internet.
to think. i almost didnt open this thread.
waiiiit a second. are you calling midi fighters bricks? eh wise gui? …actually, i take that back, a house made of midi fighters would be nice…
I wish someone was able to tell us some more. ![]()
I’d really love to give that 92 clone a testrun once, cause I really like the design and idea!
LoLz…
Nah but to be honest, I’d really love to see Behringer climb out of that deep dark shadow that was cast upon them with the bad series of DJ mixers and the BCD2000. (Yes it’s the ‘D’ and not the ‘R’ !)
Thank you Citizen Insane for this internet. This year, to save me from tears, I’ll give it to someone special. Also, your comment re: headphone jack placement is spot on (unlike that aforementioned jack on the DDM)
No drivers required ? We’ll see. After all it has “USB audio connectivity”. Depending on the feature set, this could require drivers.
This can mean one or more of the following :
-No MIDI interface required and it just acts as any usb controller
-It has an audio interface with a single in/out, like the xone 42 (record to your computer with one less d/a conversion in the signal path)
-If you look at the x:92 clone, it could have an audio interface with up to 6 stereo channels, that’s counting the 2 aux. Of course it won’t be Traktor Scratch certified but still useful for everyone else who does not use DVS.
Listen to me. There are no drivers required for these mixers. Everything is class compliant (as it should be).
Ill give you guys the full run down, nem0nic is going to show me all the new behringer products @NAMM!
top right mixer in the pic looks like a monster..
It certainly looks like something ![]()
Fair play to Behringer for trying to give us the features of high end stuff at an affordable price ![]()
same shit, different box?hahaha
A midi-fighter brick shithouse lined with S4’s. Yes please.
Agreed, Behringer have done a few things right. Hopefully they are on the move.
With the rapid pace at which controllerists are moving, and the accompanying technology…it will be good to have cost effective options. Get ready for the ramp up.
Buy it, use it, break it, fix it,
Trash it, change it, mail - upgrade it,
I’ve got 2 DDM4000’s. Initially hesitant on the first, but solid enough for a second.
Multi-purpose machine and a good for a local backup. I’m happy with them and they are as swiss army knife as I need them to be.
Looking forward to seeing what this new 4ch brings to the table. Looks very interesting.
Behringer inventing new words, that’s innovative. ![]()
Nice catch Hoodless:
I was hoping you would say that. I’m looking forward to any and all details you can absorb (pssst..especially the 4ch). Please nerd out as much as humanly possible…I would like to thank you in advance. ![]()
Thanks JesC and nem0nic…you’re Awesome!
I’m sooo with you on this. Good and cheap gear will promote growth, i.e. cheaper better gear and a more solid controllerist foundation.
If N.I. sales are any indication of what is to come…hold on, it’s gonna be a wild ride.
…two tickets please ![]()
ok, I’ll quit hogging this thread and move on to the bacon thread. Meat..mmmmm
honestly, i know the ddm isn’t much compared to the “top” level mixers like the xone series… but, since I dont have the MONEY for the xone series, it doesn’t matter to me.
I love the fact that, as said in an earlier post, its a swiss army knife.
infinium faders, yes please.
and… i see extra knobs
dedicated channel fx knobs? filters? (whoa). integrated interface? HOPE SO!
either way, come March-ish..
This new Behringer 4 channel NOX thing and the new MB Pro’s with SSD and Light Peak are MINE!!! muahhahahahahah!!! (evil laugh).
I’m curious to see if this 4ch is replacing the current 4ch.
That misspelling isn’t from OUR literature - I checked. It’s from whoever re-typed the info.
No worries, I was just having fun with it. Wasn’t my intention to slander and my first post reflects the corrections.
Just for the record, my initial post was a bit derogatory…not the tone I was trying to set.
It just takes a few attempts to get the mix right, and I think Behringer hit the nail on the head with a number of solid releases.
DDM-4000
EP2000
EP4000
ULTRACURVE PRO DEQ2496
The DDM4000’s, especially at this price point, have no match in my opinion. I was impressed enough to pony up for a second.
Tougher than a hooker on nickel night…this is the gear that keeps my house rumbling.
Just wanted to correct myself as I see good things ahead for Behringer and Controllerists.
Ultracurve is a nice piece of kit, same goes for some of the 19" EQ stuff.
And ofcourse, how can we forget my beloved BCR2000:

Behringer is the company I’ll be sticking with. The DDM4K - fagedaboutit. Awespme piece of kit. The NOX 4 Channel will be mine, also. Definitely.
