New Controller - Advice

Howdi,

I’m in the market for a new controller and I need some advice! I’ve had a Hercules RMX and I’m currently using a Numark Omni Control. Recently I’ve added CDJ’s to my set up and I’m running the CDJ’s and my Omni Control through a 2 channel mixer. This isnt the ideal setup but it is working for the moment.

Anyway, I’m basically looking for a controller that I can hook up both my CDJ’s and works as a MIDI controller similar to the Omni Control.

At the moment the S4 is a serious contender but considering I just splashed out for CDJ’s, I really don’t have the money to splash out on an S4! If I have no other choice I will buy one but at the moment I’m looking around for a cheaper alternative.

Any suggestions?

How’s about a midi capable mixer such as the DDM4000?

What are you using the controller for if you have CDJs?

Yeah I still don’t rate Behringers mixers as that good to be honest!

?? i sold my cdj’s and went to controllers :slight_smile: 2 x NI Kontrol X1’s and i had to have a VCI-100SE to go withthem lol
