new diy home-made controller

new diy home-made controller

hello all,

i’m starting to work on my new diy home-made controller, i’ll be using two gamepads and a exterior sound usb board for input and phones

i’ll have 33 buttons and 8 faders, i’m thinking of installing led for each of the buttons/leds

now the trick question, i’ll have a usb hub to connect everything, do you think that the hub will have energy for all of those components?

and if the hub is powered?

should i loose that high number of leds?

thanking you in advance
fbonito

ps. sorry for my bad english…

I used 22 LEDs on one gamepad-PCB… worked fine

hello

I was following the progress of your project, i looks great

about the usb power, well… i will have 1 soundboard + two gamepads + 40 leds connected to one single usb connection…

I have my doubts

USB soundcard connects directly to computer.
The rest to the powered USB-hub.. no problem.
