New Dj Desk! Need advice on Monitors setup!

Hey everyone!

I recently just finished putting together my new DJ desk with everything from Ikea. I’m in the process of replacing my Bose speaker system with some new monitors from Pioneer. Now I came across Ean Golden’s video on traktor beatgrid setup, and I noticed his speakers in the background.

Does anyone know how I can set my new speakers to angle up like that? Is there a stand or something easy I can make from the hardware store??

auralex foam :smiley: they make angled speaker stands, i went even more ikea and used spare leg risers and angled brackets from ikea stuff to angle my speakers

Check the sticky thread about the improvised ikea desk. It has some information about building stands. There’s also the isoacoustics iso-l8r stands, which will do like 8" elevation + some angle. They make a difference but not as much as actually getting the speakers up to ear height.
