totally stole it from akai
The bugger is a sample trigger for itch.. something invaluable to use along side my Pioneer DDJ-S1.
Just because serato locked doesn’t mean they can copy another companies product.
What’s next? the serato Kontrol f4?
Not serato locked. it’s actually HID to get around the serato stuff..supposedly
I’m fine with them making one for serato because the lpd8 is very useful with traktor. My point is why are they so obviously copying akai
It would have been a little bit more pratical/usefull if the USB was on the other end instead… oh well.
how is that legal lol
Numark and Akai are in the same group of companies. It’s not stealing in any way. It’s probably the same guy in charge of both products. Just repurposed for different applications.
It is indeed a ripoff, they should have actually spent some design time and made it better than an lpd8…
oh hey numark owns akai. well nvm then
I still think it’s a little dumb, the knobs on the lpd8 could have been easily upgraded (they’re a bitch to use live).
Numark hasn’t been very creative with their products lately
Makes more sense.
Nevuh been dun befor…
