New Old Stock SL1200 mk2

Hi all,

does anyone know if it is possible to get hold of a pair of SL1200mk2 new and still boxed?
I sold mine and need some again. I don’t want 2nd hand or the new G models.

If it is possible, does anyone know how much I’d need to spend?

Unfortunately, those are mk5’s and I’m after the original mk2’s.

I would say your chances of finding them are slim to none. That’s not saying they aren’t sitting on a shelf collecting dust. Good luck and happy hunting!

Just announced 1200 GR. Technics claims it’s twice better than MK5. Expected price $2000.

Why not just look for a used pair? They’re built like tanks and you’ll get them much cheaper than anything claiming they’re new. Yeah, they might need a bit of conditioning, but you should be able to find them a lot easier.
