New PC drivers for S4

Apparently there’s new PC drivers for the S4 and other NI sound cards available in the service center. Can someone with a PC confirm this?

Theres Mac ones as well on the NI Support site.

You would have thunk they would have said something. :confused: Seems to be solving lots of problems, hopefully they’ll keep doing just that.

it was just few hour, some guy was complaining about lack of updates in whole 18 days since release! wow, home come :smiley:

I think 18 days for HotFix of the drivers for the S4 is very good achievement. Hope it’ll release some pressure off you guys. You took significant part of the release support for the S4 - remarkable! And you did it VERRY PROFESSIONALLY!

Is the 2.9.4 driver for Windows the newest driver for the S4 as labelled on the page? Or is it the original driver?

The date on it is 16.11.2010 which is translated as 11-16-2010 here which means it was released three days ago.

has anyone that was having trouble actually found that the update sorts out there issues ???

I’ve read a few people comments who’s troubles went away over at NI, there’s still some that are having problems though.

The problems are still there .
For me the only solution is to use Game Booster & ProcessHacker .

Can anyone provide a mirrored link to the new drivers for windows? NI’s driver and update servers are down at the moment

I’ve been in contact with NI support staff and they advised that in upcoming driver there will be an option to increase latency further…this is great for people like me who are getting drop outs on 512 ms latency and want something higher because I don’t really scratch :slight_smile:
