Unique concept, tons of effects!

This mapping has over 50 different sets of Instant Gratification available for you.
Each set is called a “Chamber” and an effect (like beat masher) can have up to 8 chambers with various specific fx collections.
The choice dependent selection uses many different effects sets for a unique experience.
You just pick a sound by pressing a red button, then a pattern/path appears with 7 options to complement that sound.
Pick one and you’ll enter a chamber/grid with a rack of effects that should sound well with your chosen path.
There are hundreds of sounds available and the dependent maze will provide you lots of fun exploring all the available grids.

This mapping has 2 sections at the home screen:
*Blue: 9 shortcuts to fixed Chambers with unique effect setups.
*Red: 7 choice dependent paths with 8 options to enter 7 or more chambers each.

This is The Home Screen where you can start your path:

Bottom Rows buttons (RED) = Dependent Maze

  • Choose and press a single button from the Maze section (2 bottom rows) to start a sound.
  • A pattern with multiple options flashes, pick one.
  • You now enter a chamber with a special FX setup build upon your two choices.

Hold a sound while exiting a chamber:

*Press any BLACK button from the Chamber section (2 top rows) to hold the current sound.
*You go back to the home screen (4 pulsating bars).

Clear a sound while exiting a chamber:
*Press any black button from the top rows again to disable hold and turn off all effects.

Exit a chamber and start a new path:
Press any BLACK button from the Maze section (2 bottom rows)
to start a new maze on top of it.

Reset All:
Use the middle left side button to reset everything with one click.

Top Row buttons (BLUE)= Fixed Chambers
There are 9 chambers available to jump to directly.

*Press a button from the chamber section to load up a chamber.
*Press a black button from the top row to Hold the sound and go back to the home page.
*Press it again to un-hold all effects and load up a new chamber.

Side Buttons:

FX Assignments

Use the corner side buttons to engage each deck.
Any deck combination is possible.
The corresponding white corner ground lighting will flash if deck FX are enabled.

The middle left Reset button quickly restores all effect panels and clears all loaded states.
Conflicts may occur when using multiple devices to control the effects sections.
Pressing the Reset button on the Midi Fighter Spectra will put this mapping back to its initial state.

The middle right HID button switches to Remix Deck mode when custom firmware is applied.

Hell yeah, man!

Yep, seriously the biggest midifighter mapping I’ve seen mate! Well, for now…

Some ‘Store Preset’ missing here and there but part of that it’s pretty cool mapping! Great job!

Omg

This is pretty awesome.

Yeah, I’ve been struggling with the Store Presets, but it’s kinda hard with all those variable modifiers to get successful operations every time. It should work OK after some play around though. Any tips or hints are always welcome

I know it’s quite complex modifier grid there but following modifiers and assigning correct conditions should do the job for all Store Presets. I’ll be messing with two Spectra mappings of mine for some time but soon as I finish first one I’ll look deeper in to this chambers and see if I can fix that for ya

Do you foresee any conflicts using this mapping with your Maschine fighter for traktor?

The aMazing Spectra spotted in this MIDIfighter Spectra video:

It’s pretty cool review

Have you thought about porting this mapping to Serato DJ as well? Absolutely brilliant work so far!

Anyone using the MF3D version of this mapping?

Yes it works excellent except when I load the MFS file into MF utility it doesnt stick so whenever I unplug the MF3D it goes back to the last setting.
and then I have to re load the MFS settings any fix for this ?

Have you click on “Send to Midifighter” button?

I did still nothing tride 20 times and it doesn’t stick. MF doesnt even flash like if u were to add your tekken mapping

OK - I’ll look into this.

Okay thanks Stewe

Looks fine - I didn’t reproduce that issue ether on Mac or PC.

  1. Does it happen with other .MFS than this one? If it does please reinstall the MF Utility and test.
  2. Could you please perform the Factory Reset and test again?

It only happens with this one I did a factory reset and the same thing happens could this be a firmware issue ?

EDIT when traktor opens the lights all come on but nothing is showing in the MF utility after being unplugged.

Thanks for the input! This sounds like the the firmware thing - please go ahead and install the recovery firmware than update the firmware in the Utility software.

The .hex file and instructions are here: https://techtools.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/202165104-From-Bootloader-to-Manual-Firmware-update-MF3D

Okay I did that and still the same thing I also had a hell of a time getting back to the latest update I had to put it into bootloader mode during the update just to get it to update from the recovery firmware I think I will just stick with what works the Flash Flooders mapping is flawless and so is yours Stewe thanks for your help
