New to TSP and can’t get the VCI X fader or line faders to work

Yes, I know this is a daft question, but I’m a little stuck.

Upgraded from TP to TSP today, and am trying to get things working how I want.

I’ve reapplyed the DJTT 3.5.1 mapping and all of the transport functions and effect work, but I can’t get the xfader or line faders to work on my VCI - I have to use my shitty old mixer … a little help

Your (feeling stupid already as the answer is probably noddy)

Sherlock

You are in External mode, you have to change to Internal (Preferences>Output Routing>Mixing Mode>Internal)

Does that sort you out?

Phil.

D’OH!

Told you I’d feel like a moron. I’d changed the layout to 2D Int Mix, but it didn’t do that as well.

Now how to get rid of the high pitched whine whilst I’m using the vinyl (think that’s coming off the stylus on the control vinyl tbh …)

ground your turntables?

You cant get rid of the sound of the timecode. Just turn your speakers up.

Press pauze

Makes sense - I suppose when you’re playing ‘real’ vinyl the tinny noise from the stylus matches the amplified noise coming from the speakers, so it’s less noticable, whereas the control signal is a constant tone, so stands out a little more

yo…you upgraded?

Did you get your serial immediately?

I upgraded…and was told to wait 2 weeks…as they needed to give me a serial number that was on a box that they will send.

Did i fuck up?

I think i did…should have done the online option…but not sure what I did now!

BOOOOOO.

HAHAHA…that one got me too!

I was like…WTF?..this shit ain’t workin…turned up the volume…AHH…there she is!!!
