New Toy!

The new rig is beginning.

Looks like an investment in a new macbook pro is on the horizon as well!

Very nice. I played around with the same keyboard while @ Moog Audio yesterday and it is very smooth.

Macs are the best, hands down. I’ve managed to corrupt 5 dorm mates into buying them already. I just ordered some decals for my MacBook, gonna look sexy with a black VCI!

Great little Controller I had the Remote 25 a while back sold it and DEEPLY miss it ! cant go wrong with Novation :slight_smile: you going to take a screwdriver to it and do a Moldover ? :slight_smile:

first thing i would be modding is the faders to make the more chunky

yea thats what I would do. I want one, I can’t decide between that or the akia mpp-32 cause I love the faders on that.

But like bento said just put new faders on it.

I love my remote zero sl and original remote 25, both get lots of use in the studio.

Hey bro, I need faders that are not flat as the original ones, but that would fit on the SL :slight_smile: I can not “grab” these flat ones :disappointed: Maybe moldover should just hand me a link! lolz

i think moldover just used regular faders from a dj mixer.

Alright, so I’m going to mod my Remote 25SL.

Now, I’ve never done anything like this before, but I want to make it more logical to the DJ mindset I have.

I’ll have the Evolution UC-33e and 1 PadKontrol to use with this. I want to put all of the scenes of the PadKontrol to use.

Now, I have never modded a unit before. I am not going to just go nuts on my brand new $400 MIDI controller. Instead I am going to open up my M-Audio Radium 49 from 2004. Now, this is going to be a very different beast.

What do I need to know in regards to opening the Remote compared to the Radium?
