New track I just finished. More of a peak time tune to keep the floor moving

Bit different from what I’m usually trying to accomplish in the studio but decided to give it a try. As the title says, this more for when you’re in the headlining spot and just want to keep that energy going and driving.

Still in the rough arrangement stage and this is the first mixdown attempt, so tweaks will be made down the line as I give it more listens.

Have at it guys!

I’m liking it.

Thanks, much appreciated! Added a few things since I posted this that really polish it off I think.

Cheers!

The sounds on the intro, makes it really interesting.

Have been having the odd listen to your tracks over the last couple of years and as much as I can aprreciate the effort and craft, none have really grabbed me until this track. Credit where it is due mate. this track I dig

Thanks mate! All about perseverance! Finally starting to come together nicely and am feeling more confident in myself and my idea’s.

Much deeper than anything I’d play, but it sounds fantastic. Great work!

Well, like the general vibe and would probably play it. I would prefer a kick drum with more mid-range presence though. And while it works well when most of the other parts are playing - during the intro and the breakdown (around 3.40) the additional kick which you sometimes put on the 8th between 2 “normal” kicks somewhat throws me off.

So I should just keep it as 4/4 during the intro and outro?

Yeah, I think that would work better.

Maybe I’ll just use it to accent certain areas of the arrangement, and do just a little drop here and there and drop in the extra hit.

Got me thinking now!

What, no listing of the synths, presets, plug ins, or loops that you used??? Meh, I guess you could do that.

Well, if you do, maybe groove it up a little. Don’t drop the extra kicks as straight as they are now (I’m thinking probably a bit later, but would have to try that out)

It would have been a joke but you suggested he uses presets, that’s when shit got serious.

I find this rich coming from you. When’s the last time you read your own signature?

I didn’t use anything special though. If you see my other posts in the production area you can already guess what I like to use.

Arturia V Collection
Waves Complete 8 Plugins
Loops and sample from a variety of places, guess the most obvious loop would be the vox sample and I scooped that up from Matteo Dimarr’s sample pack.

Ha! I mean, I could list the presets that got me started, but by the time I was finished with them they didn’t sound like anything they started out as.

I was being facetious, but I’m sure you can see the irony of it all

I don’t think he was talking literally about what equipment you used, but more taking a dig on you for always asking for track lists. I will admit, I chuckled a little bit

Oh, well, if this was a mix I posted it would have made more sense I guess

= p

He was trying to make fun of you… but then you posted what you use…
