Newbie to djing and new equipment

Hi all, I just started my own djing and after searching and reading your knowledges, my wife got me some Dj equipments over the weekend to play with. But I decided to buy the Behringer BCD3000 to play with VDJ. So, my question is: Behringer BCD3000 going to work with my VDJ and my windows vista system?

Well, if you get it to work (which is a pain). It’ll work.

But you’ll go crazy after the 500th freeze of your whole system, believe me. I’ve had a BCD3000 for 1,5year and got SO frustrated with it 9 out of 10 times.

Because it would’nt run on my Vista laptop, i had to get my old pc, format the whole disk, put a fresh XP on there and ONLY VDJ and some tracks. That’s the only way it would work with any reasonable stability.

So, you are saying that is not a good equipment. Do you know of any other equipment better and good for this kind of budget?

You can usually find a used VCI-100 for about the same price.

Go for the VCI-100. There are a few for sale right now in BUY/SELL forum.
