ni audio 2 set up problems

Hi guys

I’ve recently bought a mac book pro. I hooked up my vci100 and everything works fine.

I do encounter a problem with installing my NI Audio 2 sound card. I have already searched de NI website for troubleshooting but unfortunately i couldn’t find my problem. Because i have good experiences with this forum for troubleshooting i hope anybody here can help.

When i hook up my audio2 DJ card, the lights flash for a second or 2 and then go out. My mac doesn’t recognize it. I’ve downloaded the latest drivers, tried another cable but nothing works.

Anybody here had a similar problem and fixed it? FYI software running on a my mac is 10.6.8.

I think there was a problem with the newer updates to the audio 2, try going back to the early 2011/2010 driver updates

Just tried it out, unfortunately it didn’t work :disappointed:

got some more info, when i open system preferences > sound > output. I don’t see the possibilty to select the device. This probably be the problem, that the software doesn’t install correctly. Any clues how to fix it?

This happened to me awhile back. I think I solved it by just restarting my computer and plugging the Audio 2 in before I opened Traktor. Worked fine after that.

Have you rebooted?

Has this porblem been solved ? I have the exact same problem right now.

i had this last week when i got an audio 2, solved it by using the old driver versions. try that out..

Did the same and it worked !
