NI Audio Timecode alternative
Hey guys!
Anyone knows of a reliable alternative to NI Audio 4/6/8/10 for timecode? ESI Maya 44? Any production soundcard?
Asking this because NI soundcards are kind of expensive.
For Traktor? No
For other software, yes.
Traktor Scratch only works with Traktor Certified devices. These include NI hardware such as the Audio 4/6/8/10 and Kontrol S4 or Z2, as well as certified devices from other manufacturers such as the Pioneer DJM-900 nexus. Thanks. I didn’t know about those limitations. It’s being hard to find a NI timecode soundcard used for a good price in europe.
Other question… could I use komplete 6 from NI with timecode? Or does it have to be really a soundcard that says “scratch”?
Those certified mixers are expensive.
No, the Komplete 6 is not compatible… just the Audio 4, Audio 6, Audio 8 or Audio 10 soundcards.
