NI Maschine in Matadors and Gaisers setup

Hello, I want to add a Maschine by NI to my setup. I saw that Matador and Gaiser also using a Maschine in their live sets. Could somebody explain me how they use it in their setup? Do they using it in Ableton or in the Maschine software?

Answer this: What do you hope to gain from having Maschine in your setup? Also, what’s your current setup?

Maschine works great for triggering one-off samples, but that’s just one way it can be used.
