Ni s4 vs reloop
Hello everyone, I want to buy a digital gear and I hesitate between control s4 and reloop jockey 2 or 3. I see it as an investment for the future but I’m starting. What do you think? Thanks and regards.

I find it funny how they call it a 4 deck controller with only 2 eq sections and volume faders but then again you can easily map the pitch faders as volume but there’s still the issue with the eq. I wont lie though that the reloop looks mighty sexy with rotary encoders for effects and the led feedback.
I love my S4.
they (the reloops) have soft take over for volume and eq… in other words the sound doesn’t change until the eq’s or volume that you are adjusting pass the point they are set to on your computer screen.
WOAH! is that dealing with the mapping or hardware it’self?
My friend has a reloop and tbh I just find it confusing. There are hundreds of shift functions and you have to be a bit careful with the EQs since they’re push to kill. A nicely built unit, but I’d get the S4 over it any day of the week. Plus you get the new Traktor for free.
mapping
great post…
I must further my understanding in mapping then I can make my mp3e2 into a 4 deck controller!! That thing is gonna be so confusing with the 5 billion shift buttons I have =p
i am sorry that i didn’t quote the post that i answered because i thought it was right above, now i see that your post came in the same verry minute.
haha get it now dude, sorry for the somewhat violent sarcasm!
